Allie Racette is a young writer from the small town of Plattsburgh in northern New York, a mere twenty-three miles south of the US-Canada border.
Allie grew up writing stories, and after a brief period of madness during her freshman year of college (when she decided to major in Community Health, for some reason) she earned a BA in Professional Writing from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
After college, Allie settled back in her hometown. She lives with her pet rat Doris (RIP Ethel, 9/27/17) in a tiny, book-infested apartment. She eats too much Chinese food, reads a lot of fan-fiction, binge watches YouTube makeup tutorials, and sings Broadway show tunes at midnight.
Allie is passionate about Young Adult fiction and the emerging New Adult genre. Look to her blog for news about her projects and snippets about writing, life, the writing life, and more.
